• To record and share the story on social media platforms and video links.
• To inspire First Nations communities to express their culture and traditions through the making of regalia, garments and other products.
• To leverage Linda Lundström’s knowledge and network of suppliers and her lifelong commitment to advocate for First Nations communities by assisting to build a sustainable source of cultural identity and revenue.
• To create jobs and encourage entrepreneurship.
• To engage youth with the ‘cool’ factor that Fashion will bring to the community. Imagine teenagers wearing clothes they made themselves, being photographed and modeling in a Fashion Show.
• To include and respect the needs and traditional knowledge of families, elders and leaders in a venture that will bring tangible results.
• To connect the communities with Sewing Circles to create synergies and support each other and supply products to the region through online sales on www.sewingcircle.org.
